Gyrus Systems adds Sales and Marketing Executive to its Management Team

Richmond, VA June 07, 2010. Gyrus Systems, a leader in the Learning Management Systems (LMS) announced today that it has hired Michael Monahan as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Mike Monahan, former Senior Vice President of Operations for Oakwood Homes Corporation, has joined Gyrus Systems in their sales and marketing department. Gyrus is one of the nation’s premier innovators of Learning Management Systems software for worldwide customers. Mr. Monahan was employed by IBM in their data processing sales division after graduation from the University of Richmond - School of Business. He later joined Oakwood Homes as a regional Sales Director. During his sales and field management days he set sales records for homes sold that have stood the test of time for over 26 years. Promoted to the corporate headquarters to share his skills, he developed the Oakwood University system in 4 cities across the USA and drove sales from $200 million to just under $4 billion. He launched Oakwood’s Satellite Based Training Module, viewed by over 525 model centers nationwide once a week.
