Skills Competency
A Skills Competency determines how well a person can perform a skill. For example, the skills competency for golf is often measured by the golfer's handicap. It is not an issue if one can play golf, it is an issue of how well a person can play golf, thus what is the golfer's skills competency? The same skills competency concept applies to business organizations also, although no one has all skills no matter the competency. For example, I have no skill competency at all on heart surgery. Nonetheless, organizations want to measure and advance their employees' skill competency many ways. GyrusAim can help corporate and governmental organizations manage their employee skill competency.
